Everything you need to know about ISUZU’s New Service Centre at Riche Terre

24th november, 2025

The opening of the new ISUZU Truck service centre at Riche Terre marks an important milestone for the brand in Mauritius. Equipped with modern infrastructure and advanced technology, the facility reinforces ISUZU’s commitment to delivering high standards in aftersales service and operational efficiency.

NEW ISUZU SERVICE CENTRE

A Strategic move to support growth

The decision to relocate ISUZU truck aftersales operations to Riche Terre was a natural progression following more than ten years of activity at Pailles. Over time, the continuous growth of ISUZU truck operations led to space limitations within the existing workshops. The new site allows for improved organisation, increased flexibility, and enhanced working conditions, ultimately strengthening safety standards, service quality, and operational efficiency.

While truck servicing has been relocated to Riche Terre, the Pailles site continues to play a key role. It remains dedicated to the maintenance of agricultural equipment, handling operations, and the preparation of new trucks prior to delivery. This dual site approach ensures better optimisation across all Axess product ranges and reinforces the group’s long term commitment to customer satisfaction.

This development reflects a strong belief that reliable aftersales support is fundamental to customer trust, sustainable growth, and economic development. The new service centre enhances service capacity while supporting the evolving mobility needs of the region.

What’s new at the Riche Terre Service Centre

The new service centre features six dedicated service bays, allowing multiple vehicles to be serviced simultaneously. Four bays are reserved for maintenance and wheel alignment, ensuring efficient workflow and reduced waiting times. The facility also includes a dedicated body and paint workshop for trucks, capable of handling everything from minor touch ups to full vehicle restoration on site.
To further support service efficiency, the centre holds a large stock of genuine ISUZU spare parts, enabling faster turnaround times.

A comfortable and secure customer waiting area has also been integrated into the design, offering a more pleasant on-site experience for clients.

A new way of supporting our customers

According to Romain Sauzier, After Sales Manager of Axess Heavy Machinery, the Riche Terre facility represents a new approach to customer support. With an improved working environment and optimised service bays, customers benefit from shorter waiting times and consistently high service quality. The presence of a dedicated waiting area allows clients to remain on site in comfort, while direct access from the northern motorway ensures ease of access and convenience.

Together, these elements create a service environment that strengthens proximity to customers and reflects ISUZU’s commitment to continuous improvement.

A long-term vision

Stéphane Chasteau de Balyon, Managing Director of Axess Ltd, highlighted the strategic importance of the new facility, noting that it reflects the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Designed to better serve clients and support teams with modern infrastructure, the centre reinforces Axess’ dedication to building strong relationships and delivering consistent value over time.

Masakazu Fukasawa, Vice President of the Aftersales Division at ISUZU Motors International in Dubai, welcomed this new chapter for ISUZU in Mauritius. He emphasised that customer satisfaction is a daily responsibility and that the new centre supports faster service while strengthening collaboration between partners.

Jean Marc Espitalier Noel, Head of Business Unit Heavy Machinery at ISUZU Motors Mauritius, underlined the practical benefits of the relocation. He noted that the move significantly increases service capacity and improves the overall customer experience, made possible through close collaboration with partners involved in the project.
