This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting Mauritian talent, ambition and the communities that continue to make an impact both locally and internationally.
A historic season for La Cure Waves
La Cure Waves have enjoyed a remarkable rise in Mauritian football.
After securing the Super League title for the first time in the club’s history, the team went on to complete a historic domestic double by winning the MFA Cup. Their achievements earned them qualification for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, where they will make their first-ever appearance in the continental competition.
It is a significant milestone not only for the club, but also for Mauritian football as La Cure Waves takes its ambition onto the African stage.
Supporting Mauritian ambition
At Suzuki at Axess, we believe that progress is driven by determination, consistency and the courage to aim higher.
These are qualities we see reflected in the journey of La Cure Waves. From their achievements on the local football scene to the opportunity to compete against some of Africa’s leading clubs, their story demonstrates what can be achieved through teamwork and perseverance.
Through this sponsorship, Suzuki at Axess is proud to stand alongside the players, technical team and wider La Cure Waves community as they embark on this new chapter.
From Mauritius to the African stage
La Cure Waves will face South African side Orlando Pirates in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, with the two matches scheduled to take place on 6 September in Mauritius and 12 September in South Africa.
As they step onto the continental stage for the first time, they will be representing much more than their club. They will be carrying the colours and ambitions of Mauritian football with them.
Suzuki at Axess wishes the entire La Cure Waves team every success for the competition.
We are proud to support them as they take on this historic challenge and look forward to seeing Mauritius represented with passion and determination on the African stage.
All the best, La Cure Waves. Mauritius is behind you.
