All about the new XPENG G6

The XPENG G6 is available in three variants: the XPENG G6 AWD, the XPENG G6 RWD Long Range, and the XPENG G6 RWD Standard, offering drivers the choice between enhanced performance, extended range, and everyday electric efficiency.
 

New for 2026, the XPENG G6 AWD Performance variant takes electric driving further. It includes all the features of the Long Range version, with enhanced performance that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.13 seconds.

For an even bolder look, the AWD Performance variant is also available in Black Edition styling, featuring Black 20 inch alloys and Smoked Grey badging.

The XPENG G6 comes standard with XPILOT Assist, bringing together intelligent driving, parking, and safety technologies. Features such as adaptive cruise control, auto lane change, remote parking assistance, a 360-degree camera with Transparent Chassis, and comprehensive collision prevention provide greater confidence behind the wheel.

Supporting these systems is the XPENG Full-Stack Lofic Architecture, which combines a front binocular camera and rearview camera to deliver enhanced visibility in both bright and low-light conditions. An advanced sensor suite extends visual perception by 125% compared with the previous generation and can accurately recognise 49 types of dynamic and static obstacles. The built-in camera system also functions as a dashcam, adding another layer of security.

Designed with everyday practicality in mind, the XPENG G6 includes thoughtful features that make ownership even more enjoyable. Pet Mode helps keep pets comfortable while you're away by displaying a reassuring message on the centre screen for passers-by. Smart Entry also allows quick and convenient vehicle access using either the UWB ultra-wideband smart key or the NFC card key.
 

The XPENG G6 is powered by advanced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, engineered for efficiency, durability, and long-lasting performance. A triple-layer battery shield and innovative 4-3-4 battery structure provide enhanced protection against impact, fire, and thermal runaway. Buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive in Standard Range and Long Range models or all-wheel drive in the Performance variant.

Complementing the electric powertrain is a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, delivering precise handling, improved stability, and a comfortable ride with reduced road vibrations. Regenerative braking helps recover energy during deceleration to maximise driving range, while the fully electric powertrain produces zero tailpipe emissions.
 

Inside, the XPENG G6 combines intelligent technology with premium comfort. Full-car voice activation allows occupants in every seat to control key vehicle functions, while selected models also feature a 9-inch streaming rearview mirror and a built-in dashcam using the parking and sentry cameras.

The cabin is complemented by an 18-speaker XOPERA sound system with 7.1.4 surround sound technology, including two speakers integrated into the driver's seat for an immersive listening experience.

Comfort extends to every passenger. The 12-way power-adjustable driver's seat includes four-way lumbar support, heating, and ventilation as standard, with massage functions available on Long Range and Performance models. The six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat also features heating and ventilation, with massage available on selected variants. Rear passengers benefit from 12 reclining backrest positions, adjustable from 27° to 38.4°, allowing everyone to find a comfortable seating position.

The heated leather steering wheel is four-way adjustable and places essential controls within easy reach, including auto parking, cruise control, climate settings, voice control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and audio functions.
 

The XPENG G6 is backed by a five-year/120,000 km vehicle warranty, an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty, and a 12-year unlimited mileage body warranty. Service intervals are every year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.
