JOB OBJECTIVE
The E-Commerce Coordinator will be responsible for promoting, developing, and selling Original Equipment (OE) and premium automotive parts to garages, workshops, fleets, and spare parts retailers across Mauritius.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Promote and sell OE parts and automotive products.
- Achieve and exceed the monthly sales target.
- Grow the customer portfolio through structured prospecting and territory management.
- Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term clients.
- Conduct daily field visits based on a planned route.
- Build trust-based, long-term relationships with garages, workshops, and sales outlets.
- Provide technical guidance and product advice to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quick responsiveness and consistent follow-up.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations to ensure conversion.
- Negotiate professionally and close sales with confidence.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update all actions on CRM.
- Submit weekly reports on sales performance, opportunities, and market feedback.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of OE parts and product applications.
- Stay informed on competitor activities, pricing movements, and market trends.
- Attend supplier training and product workshops to reinforce expertise.
- Coordinate with the store, logistics, and customer service departments.
- Provide regular feedback on stock demand, fast-moving items, and product gaps.
- Support marketing initiatives, product demos, and customer events.
- Make follow-up calls on quotations, orders, and pending deals.
- Identify and contact 2–3 new prospects each day.
- Prepare and send quotations.
- Update and submit daily reports.
- Plan weekly route and priorities.
- Participate in weekly review with the Sales Manager.
- Monitor competitors and share market intelligence.
- Adjust sales approach based on customer needs and stock levels.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of work experience; of which at least 2 years in similar job.
- Education: At least bachelor’s degree in supply chain/procurement and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a dealership is a strong advantage and basic car knowledge is an advantage.
- Languages: Written and spoken French and English.
- Strong proven analytical background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software.
- Computer skills: proficient with all computer applications.
- Other: Driver’s license.
- Holder of a clean certificate of character.
